Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Contribute to the sales strategy for Origin Orbit and Origin No Dig, aligned to the company’s growth objectives.
Set and deliver against annual revenue targets, tracking performance against KPIs
Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives to maximise commercial performance.
New Business Development
Proactively identify, target, and engage new prospects across priority sectors
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to generate leads and raise the profile of Origin Tech.
Key Account Management
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, acting as the primary point of commercial contact.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base.
Ensure client satisfaction is consistently maintained and any issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
Marketing & Brand
Act as a credible and enthusiastic brand ambassador for Origin Tech and its award-winning product lines.
Support the development of sales collateral, presentations, and tender responses.
Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing activity.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, pipeline data, and sales forecasts.
Provide regular sales performance reports and commentary to senior management.
Manage own diary, travel, and client meeting schedule efficiently.
SHEQ Responsibilities

Know your roles and responsibilities and those of your colleagues.

Information Security Responsibilities
As part of our commitment to ISO 27001 you will contribute to our information security responsibilities and our integrated management system. This will include but is not limited to:
Complying with all information security policies and procedures.
Reporting security incidents or suspicious activity promptly.
Following access control and data handling requirements.
Participating in mandatory security awareness training.
Protecting organisational assets and information.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within technology, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience managing complex, technical sales processes with long lead times.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving licence (required).
Knowledge and experience of pipelines and water leakage technologies is a significant advantage.
General Capabilities
Confident, consultative selling style with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Outstanding communication skills written and verbal with the ability to engage at all levels.
