Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive management in all aspects of their role to ensure smooth project development and delivery.

  • Manage the planning and delivery of commercial projects across the Origin Orbit® platform.

  • Monitor project milestones, maintain documentation, and contribute to internal and external progress reporting.

  • Liaise with clients, supply chain, and collaborators to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, budget, and deliverables.

  • Support key account management activities, helping to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Act as point of contact for utility customers, international partners, and field service teams.

  • Support partner onboarding, training, and long-term capability-building for effective local deployment.

  • Identify and mitigate risks across project delivery, including political, operational, and technical.

  • Manage the operational execution of deployments from EO data processing to field repair.

  • Monitor product performance metrics (e.g. leakage status and detection rates, leakage volume reduction, CO₂e savings, high risk valve numbers).

  • Coordinate resources, logistics, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and scalable product delivery.

  • Maintain accurate and precise documentation, user materials, and reporting outputs for stakeholders and funding bodies.

  • Contribute to marketing and case studies that highlight national and international impact.

  • As part of our commitment to ISO 27001 you will contribute to our information security responsibilities and our integrated management system. This will include but is not limited to:

- Complying with all information security policies and procedures.
- Reporting security incidents or suspicious activity promptly.
- Following access control and data handling requirements.
- Participating in mandatory security awareness training.
- Protecting organisational assets and information.


HSEQ Responsibilities

  • Champion a strong HSEQ culture across all areas of the organisation.

  • Maintain safe systems of work, including the creation and ongoing management of Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Support HSEQ risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations where required.

  • Promote safe use of geospatial and EO tools, ensuring data privacy, compliance, and ethical standards are maintained.

  • Ensure the quality, clarity, and consistency of technical reports, project proposals, and stakeholder communications, aligning with both internal standards and external expectations.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, and delivery of projects to time and budget, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree or PhD is preferable.

  • Experience in industry sectors such as water utilities is ideal, but experience in any other engineering industry would be considered.

  • Understanding of remote sensing technologies and postprocessing of data is preferred but not essential.

  • Strong analytical, visualisation and interpretive skills are essential.

  • Proficiency in the use of GIS packages such as QGIS, ArcGIS etc. is preferred but not essential.

  • High level of proficiency in Office365, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Power BI.

  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

  • Consistency and thoroughness in checking and preparing data, as well as in daily tasks, are crucial.

  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage dynamic projects.

Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
