Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and process payment runs.
Respond to supplier queries and maintain good supplier relationships.
Process and fulfil purchasing requests.
Reconcile purchase orders against supplier invoices, investigating and resolving any discrepancies as required.
Accounts Receivable
Monitor incoming payments and allocate receipts.
Support credit control activities, including chasing overdue payments.
Assist in resolving customer billing queries.
Financial Administration
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Assist with bank and company credit card reconciliations
Support month-end activities, including preparation of journals and reconciliations.
Payroll & Expenses Support
Provide administrative support for payroll processes.
Maintain records of payroll changes and employee financial data.
Data Management & Reporting
Input and maintain accurate financial data within accounting systems.
Assist in preparing basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
Ensure data accuracy to support reporting and audits.
Compliance & Controls
Follow financial procedures and internal controls at all times.
Support audits by preparing documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Systems & Process Support
Use finance systems and software to process transactions and maintain records.
Support improvements in finance processes and administrative efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Assist with ad hoc finance and admin tasks as required.
Information Security Responsibilities

Essential Skills & Experience
Previous administrative or finance-related experience.
Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Experience using Excel.
Experience with purchase ordering systems.
General Capabilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
